What Dozey Doers say
"The hormone chapter is the bit nobody else has."
★★★★★ - Terri M. 32
I've read something that described my actual childhood rather than a hyperactive boy's.
★★★★★ - Hannah R. 39
"Practical, and it doesn't oversell itself."
★★★★☆ - Kate D. 34
You’re not lazy. You’re not losing it.
Two things get mixed up all the time in women over forty. They are not the same, and they do not have the same answer.
This is not a diagnosis. It’s a decoder.
This is for you if…
No diagnosis required. No doctor’s letter. Just answers.
Real pages. Not filler.
Designed, printable and made to be written in. Fill it in on a tablet or print it at home.

The DOZEY Decoder
Questions that sort what you have always been from what has changed recently — then score you into one of three profiles. That split is the whole point: it is the difference between ADHD, perimenopause, and the two of them at once.
It’s always been there
Lifelong patterns that go back further than you can remember. School, jobs, relationships — the same thread runs through all of it.
Something changed
You coped fine for years, and then somewhere around forty the scaffolding came down. That timing is not a coincidence.
Both, overlapping
A lifelong pattern that a shifting hormonal baseline has just turned the volume up on. This is the most common result, and the least written about.
This is not a diagnosis. It’s a decoder.
signs doctors miss in women.
Two full pages on every single one — what it actually looks like, why it gets missed, and an always / recently double-tick so you can see whether it is lifelong or new.

I wrote the thing I needed and couldn’t find.
I created this workbook after seeing so many women spend years wondering why life felt harder than it seemed for everyone else. After researching ADHD in women, I realised how many had gone undiagnosed for decades — and how many only started asking the question in their forties, when the coping strategies that had always worked suddenly stopped.
My hope is that these pages help you connect the dots, understand yourself with more compassion, and remind you that you're not broken — you may have just never had the right explanation. 💜

Why I made this book?
This workbook is the resource I wish I'd had during that time. My hope is that it helps you feel seen, understood, and reassured that you're not imagining it, you're not lazy, and you're certainly not alone. While I can't promise to have all the answers, I hope these pages provide guidance, practical tools, and the reminder that there is hope, and brighter days are ahead.
Questions people actually ask
Is this a diagnosis?
No. It’s a decoder. It helps you see your own patterns clearly and put words to them. Only a qualified clinician can diagnose ADHD.
What if it’s just perimenopause?
Then the workbook will show you that, and the four-week symptom log gives you something concrete to take to your doctor. Part One is built specifically to separate a lifelong pattern from a recent change — knowing which one you are looking at is useful either way.
What is the Free E-Book?
A separate 16-page book called 100 Things That Actually Help, and it comes free with every purchase. The workbook helps you work out what is going on; the Free E-Book is what to do about it — a hundred specific things to try, grouped by the problem you’re having that day.
It’s added to your order automatically and arrives in the same download email. There’s nothing to tick and nothing extra to pay.
Do I need to be diagnosed already?
No. This was written for women who suspect and have never been assessed — whether or not you ever get a formal diagnosis.
Is it printable?
Yes. It’s a PDF designed to be printed at home on standard paper, or filled in on a tablet.
How do I get it?
Instantly. The download link arrives by email the moment you check out.
What if it doesn’t help?
You keep it either way. It’s a PDF you own outright, so you can put it down and come back to it in six months when something else clicks — and print it as many times as you like.
And if you’re still struggling after working through it, email us. We’ll do what we can to point you towards someone who can help properly.
